These cover the website, the demos and the client area. The work itself runs on your signed agreement, not on a footer link.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of this website, the demo area and the TAPP Connect client area. They are between you and TAPP Digital Incorporated, a company registered in Barbados.
They do not govern work we do for you. Every engagement runs on its own signed proposal, statement of work or retainer agreement, and where anything here conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.
Using the site means you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.
Using the site
You may read, print and share anything published here for your own or your organisation's purposes. You may not scrape it at scale, republish it as your own, resell it, or use it to train a machine-learning model without asking us first.
Please don't try to break in, overload the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. If you think you have found a security problem, tell us. We would much rather hear from you than read about it.
The demo area and the assistant
The demos are working software, not products you have bought. Anything you create in them is temporary: demo QR codes expire 24 hours after they are made, and we delete the data behind them. Don't put anything confidential, or anyone else's personal information, into a demo.
The assistant is an AI. It is grounded in this site's own content, but it can still be wrong, and nothing it says is an offer, a quote, a commitment or advice you should act on without checking. If a price or a deadline matters, get it from a person in writing.
TAPP Connect
Access to the client area is granted to named people at organisations we work with, and is personal to them. Keep your password to yourself, use a unique one, and tell us straight away if you think it has been exposed so we can reset it.
You are responsible for what is done under your login. We may suspend an account to protect the service or the other people in it, and we will tell you why.
Material in the client area (updates, files, reports and boards) is confidential to your engagement. Please treat it that way.
Who owns what
The design, code, text, images and branding on this site belong to TAPP Digital Incorporated or to whoever licensed them to us. The TAPP name and logo are ours; please don't use them without permission.
Anything you send us, whether an enquiry, a file or a message to the assistant, stays yours. You give us permission to use it only so far as we need to in order to reply to you and do the work.
Ownership of what we build for a client is set out in that client's agreement, not here.
Availability, and what we don't promise
We work to keep the site and the client area up, but we don't guarantee they will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including a demo, at any time.
The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We are not responsible for sites we link to. A link is not an endorsement.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TAPP Digital Incorporated is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data arising from your use of this website.
This clause is about the website. Liability for paid work is dealt with in the agreement covering that work, and is usually capped there by reference to the fees paid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Barbados, and the courts of Barbados have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date below tells you when they were last revised; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
