GigaBit Kids launched during the summer of 2024 to entertain and educate Barbadian and regional children on the importance of STEM. With our articulate and adventurous host Gabby, children travelled vicariously to The Barbados Museum, Nairobi, Kenya, and even Alexandria, Egypt! We decided we also wanted to give one lucky child the opportunity to win a brand new Samsung tablet, and that very excited winner was Ralando Blackman-Carrington!
After joining the Gigabit Kids Club and entering our highly anticipated Summer Competition, Ralando’s bright smile lit up the room as he received his prize, marking a proud moment for both him and his supportive school community. Gigabit Kids producer Nadine A. Jack congratulated him on his enthusiasm for STEM and willingness to embrace the digital world.
The Samsung tablet will empower Ralando to explore new learning tools, sharpen his skills, and dive into exciting digital adventures as part of the Gigabit Kids experience.
